I'm a remote Creative Technologist — I build websites, take products from zero to users, and make things that live at the intersection of code and culture.
On the independent side I develop for startups, brands, and projects whose mission and values I believe in. I own the architecture, write the code, and ship it.
My curiosity drives me. I love learning new things and exploring widely which my professional experience reflects. I've worked in the air and on the ground, at agencies, mid-size companies, big tech, and young tech. Established startups and brand new ones.
I'm drawn to entrepreneurial environments because of the ownership they demand. Work that has real leverage, where what you do actually moves things. I love beginnings, the new, the unwritten. My fiery aries energy never lets me stand still — I thrive in the unfamiliar, the uncomfortable, the places where real growth happens.
The work I've put in has led me to being a founding member in two deeply personal missions.
Studio Pilz — the creative studio I founded with my brilliant partner Liam. We work in generative media, interactive installations, and live audiovisual systems. At its core we are processing the human experience through technology. It's the tension between those two things, the deeply human and the computational, that makes the work so fulfilling.
Demi — a financial tool built for women and the unique challenges of their non-linear lives. I'm the founding engineer, responsible for the technical realisation, next to my badass besties Dani, the relentless founder and visionary, and Ella, the extremely talented founding designer.
When I moved into tech professionally five years ago, I knew that being a woman in this space — during the technological revolution of our lifetime — would ask something of me. It would ask me to step into my potential and stop hiding behind insecurity and a fear to fail or be seen. I am consciously choosing this as my calling, my purpose, my role during this cycle which I believe to be the years that define my future. I know that this journey demands confidence, ambition and dedication and I boldly step into the responsibility of shaping the future of technology as a woman. I consider it a privilege to be influencing the direction of technology's development.▌
